Elaine began her career in music by busking around Europe's capitals for a period of over 2 years.

 After returning to the UK she began to play in the clubs and pubs all over the North of England as well as  Southern Scotland.

 It was during this time she formed her first serious band "The Whole Hog" and although the band had some initial success Elaine eventually decided to pursue a solo career.

 Through her music Elaine expresses a unique blend of spirituality and insight drawing on both personal experience and that of others for inspiration.
